GO Purple: Safe Families Festival

Families are invited to attend the FREE GO Purple: Safe Families Festival on Saturday, October 1, 2016, from 10:30 am - 3:30 pm at Del Mar College, East Campus (Courtyard in front of the White Library). GO PURPLE is a statewide campaign for National Domestic Violence Awareness & Prevention Month commemorated in October. PURPLE is the color for Domestic Violence Awareness.

To GO PURPLE is to 'See it! Say it! Stop it!' to keep our community FREE from domestic violence DEATHS. Everyone plays a role in preventing domestic violence by Seeing it when it happens and Saying something about it to Stop it from happening again.

The Women's Shelter of South Texas is launching National Domestic Violence Awareness & Prevention Month on October 1st with our 3rd annual domestic violence family safety resource fair: GO Purple: Safe Families Festival!

GO Purple! Safe Families Festival is an opportunity for families to not only obtain the valuable safety resources needed to ensure a healthy family life but also a time to enjoy each other and share in the experience of the many planned festivities instore.
