The Corpus Christi IceRays return home play a two-game set against the rival Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees this Friday and Saturday at 7:05 p.m. from the American Bank Center. The weekend is the first of five-straight meetings against the Killer Bees to close out the season series.
The Corpus Christi IceRays return to the American Bank Center on Friday, February 6 and Saturday, February 7 for a big weekend both on and off the ice when they host the Lone Star Brahmas. Off the ice, the IceRays introduce a new theme night while bringing back a staple of the team's community commitment.
On January 31, 2015, Corpus Christi will host its first ever girls' junior volleyball power league tournament – the Lone Star Championship Series Corpus Christi Stop (LSCS-CC). This tournament is an integral component of the nationally recognized Tour of Texas Power League, which serves as the premier Texas pathway to the USA Volleyball Girls' Junior National Championship (Junior Olympics) and AAU Girls' Junior National Championship.
Runners will be seeing double as Color Me Rad 5K brings its “Bigger, Badder, Radder” Tour to Corpus Christi on February 28, 2015 at Whataburger Field. Participants will enjoy double the color with eight stations along the course – the most at any 5K. The tour will also feature new bold gel colors, free socks, and participants can relive the bigger, badder radness with free photos.

The IceRays in partnership with Workforce Solutions are hosting their first Oil Industry Job Fair on Saturday, January 10 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the American Bank Center Arena. Potential job seekers looking for work and/or networking opportunities within the oil industry are invited to come and meet with various companies in Corpus Christi to network and seek employment. The event will lead right up to the IceRays game at 7:05 p.m.

The 2014 Jingle Bell 5K Run-Walk and 2Mile Walk benefiting Bikes for Kids will be held Saturday, Dec. 13th, beginning at House of Rock. This fun filled family run will also include a Kids 1K, so everyone can participate in this festive event in downtown Corpus Christi. The mid-week contest sets up the start of three games in four days concluding with a road trip against the Wichita Falls Wildcats this weekend.
